August 2015

Entrepreneur's Club Founded

Abey Panigan and Alec Taylor took action and created Entrepreneur's Club to bridge the gap between the University of San Francisco and entrepreneurs in the San Francisco Bay Area.
FALL 2015

First Meeting & 20 Members

Abey and Alec lead the club's first general meeting and welcome the first 20 members.

Start of Weekly Meetings

In order to connect like-minded entrepreneurs, the Entrepreneur's Club started holding weekly networking meetings.

Board of Executives Elected

With the growing numbers of individual joining our club, it was seen as necessary to create a board of six members to organize events and fundraising.

E-club Hits 40 Members & Begins to Tour Startups

With the growing popularity and presence of Entrepreneur's Club on campus, we decide to use our connections to visit Twitter and Spray Networks.

E-club Hits 65 Members

E-club goes to South by Southwest for the first time, as well as organizing company visits to Google and Calhacks.

Newsletter and Innovation Center Created

To make sure E-club keeps members involved and in the know about events, E-club started a newsletter. In addition to the newsletter, we created an innovation center to help foster ideas within the club.

E-club Intern Program Starts

To ensure longevity, E-club takes in its first 10 interns. After one semester, the interns become part of the board.

With the new interns on board, productivity has increased and E-club was able to host a Summer Internship Panel, Fireside Chats with Andrea Barrica and Bevis Cheng.

Previous Interns Promoted, New Interns Onboarded

With the great success of the first intern cohort, E-club brings on some new interns. The first cohort of interns are promoted to executive members and choose their own project to lead.

Nikhil Vimal Becomes President of E-club

After demonstrating such great value and commitment to the betterment of USF and E-club, Vice President Nikhil Vimal is promoted to the position of president of E-club.

E-Club Visits Autodesk and Stanford School of Design

As part of E-Club's continous effort to learn more about entrepreneurship and innovation, executive members organize trips to Stanford School of Design and Autodesk.
